VISION

I founded Katherine Forst Mosaics in 2008 while living in Italy. My mission is to add meaningful beauty to the built environment. I am dedicated to upholding exceptional craftsmanship with an eye to contemporary design.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

I use superior materials and painstaking techniques, such as hand-cutting so no two pieces are exactly alike. I place each piece by hand to create a sense of fluid motion. These ancient techniques imbue the mosaics with deep emotional resonance, elevating them to works of art. Whether subtle abstract designs or centerpiece stunners, my mosaics look like they have existed for centuries and will last centuries more.

I have two paths to choose from, depending on the particular needs of the project: Custom Mosaics and Mosaic Terrazzo.

With Custom Mosaics, I foster an experience of art creation, in which your vision is translated into mosaic to create a permanent legacy. Working together in a highly collaborative process, the end result is that you become a co-creator of your bespoke work of art.
